Serving Authentic Mexican Dishes  since 2008

A Family Tradition

Our journey began in Puebla, Mexico, where I was born and raised between Puebla and Mexico City. When I was five, my parents made the difficult decision to migrate to California in search of a better future. My siblings and I stayed behind with our grandparents for six months. When my father finally returned to bring us to California, we left with nothing but the clothes on our backs and the determination to start over. California shaped my childhood and teenage years, but in 2000, we packed up once again—leaving everything behind except what we could carry—and moved to North Carolina. Each move meant beginning again, but through it all, we held onto our traditions, our resilience, and our love for family and food.

REVIEWS

"Consistently Delicious!"
"A family favorite for great Mexican food. Guacamole and chips are fresh. Tortilla soup is consistently delicious. Enchiladas are perfectly prepared with just the right amount of spicy! On the recommendation of family, I tried the ribeye chimichanga for the first time and will continue to order that for the foreseeable future. Don’t miss this great local restaurant."

"Obsessed"
"By far the best Mexican food I have ever had!! And, I’ve been to Mexico , and I’m from NYC where Mexican restaurants is everywhere. Here I got a real home made cooking, I was obsessed with their Mexican style tacos. Staying for over a week at the hotel above, this place was saving me after I had a surgery and needed takeouts daily. Grill chicken, and very tasty been ( unlike the other review) another lunch favorite , I was so pleased!! Thank you so much for your delicious food and your great service."

"Amazing!"
"Passing through, Took a random chance on Chile Loco. We are beyond glad we did. For one the people are super nice. We got the Mexican style tacos, and they were amazing! My husband ended up trying all meats… and still end up ordering two more. The Al pastor and chorizo were definitely our top favorites. My kid ended up with the hard tacos (ground beef) and she left nothing! We also got horchata! It’s was delicious!!! This place is a must try! It’s clean, people are friendly and it’s delicious! Wish I would have taken more pics but we were too busy enjoying all the food."

"Best Mexican I've ever had."
"Food was delicious! Best Mexican I've ever had. Very clean, cheerful atmosphere, good sized portions, & a fair price. Loved their guacamole. Everything we had was full of flavor and very fresh. We order the shrimp burrito, chicken chimichanga, and chicken flautas (substituting black beans for refried). Would recommend them all! Service was friendly albeit a bit slow on Mondays with only the one waitress. But food came out quickly and orders were accurate. Other nearby eateries being closed on Mondays may have contributed to how busy the waitress was as well."

"Most Authentic"
"Best and most authentic Mexican restaurant on the plateau. As soon as you get your chips and salsa (made in house) you know you've come to the right place. I literally pass 3 other Mexican restaurants to get to here."
